RE: CROCK POT HAMBURGER CASSEROLE

OK, where did I miss in the recipe for big doughy noodles? Nowhere...I was just asking b/c I would like to add that for my own personal preference.

RE: Is this logical?

If you are going to mix "logic" with buying a RV, you wouldn't buy either. There is nothing logical about the purchase. Nobody "needs" a Class A. Some people "want" them. True...well said!!!

RE: Is this logical?

I say take Golgen_HVAC's advise, because you should also look into the cost of upkeep for Diesel vs. Gas.

RE: New "Pool" Cake

I'm sure the DH would love it since he loves peaches. I'll have to try it. Thanks for sharing!!!

RE: TVs in all the bathrooms, now I've seen it all!

Thanks for the info...we may check it out because we are going to be planning a trip to Disney either for the fall of '09 or summer of '10. Thanks!!!

RE: CROCK POT HAMBURGER CASSEROLE

Sounds good, but do think chicken breasts can be substituted for the ground beef? Also, where can I find big doughy noodles for a casserole without having to make them myself?

RE: Truth be told

Brrrr...I just spent 5 nights over the Halloween weekend camping and everytime I took a shower in the bathhouse it was freezing....I couldn't wait for a nice warm shower. For the record, I tried once in the camper, but for some reason it got ice cold after about 2 minutes (I don't think it fired up properly that one time when I needed it most...ARGH!!!) I don't know how you do it, but I agree with the previous post...crank it up!!! :) I also don't think you're hurting the HWH. Happy Camping!!!!

RE: Do you remove toiletries for winterizing?

I usually bring all my toiletries and cleaning supplies in for the winter, and use them when I run out of stuff in the house. I'll just buy all new next year. It's just what I do though. :)

RE: To file a claim or not to file a claim that is the question

I think calling your agent would be best.

RE: Would you camp in 40* weather?

I would still go. We have a 2-1/2 and 4-1/2 year old and took them when it was in the 40s/50s. A space heater should really make it nice and toasty in the camper. We just bought one for our most recent trip and it even got too hot on the low setting. Also, an extra blanket at night should be fine too. Have fun and Happy Camping!!!! :)

RE: Fridge Freezing

We've been having the same exact problem with ours (Norcold) and we've had the camper for just over a year, and it too was brand new when we bought it. I just told my husband about this post, so we'll try this out, but if we have any other questions we may repost, or PM one of you 2. Thanks!!!!

RE: Suspicious email.

If you know for sure you did not send one from yourself to yourself, then definitely delete it!!!!! :)

RE: useable toilet paper

I think the RV type (Camp-A-Chem) from Walmart is good. It's not too rough like Scott's TP is. :)

RE: Last trip of the year :(

Good deal...you've got one more trip!!!!! We just took our last trip and got back yesterday. And, unlike you guys, our pantry is officially empty; it's like I went grocery shopping. But, it's always sad coming home from that last trip. The best part is....now we have all summer to figure out where we get to go next year. The DH will be winterizing this weekend. Enjoy your trip and Happy Camping!!!!! :)

RE: This Flying J ..Nasty..Nasty

I think it just depends on whose in charge of the station. I wouldn't let this one keep me from using another Flying J. Just MHO. Besides....I never use public restrooms when I have my camper with me, but when I don't have it then it's a different story and I would certainly complain. Happy Camping!!!!

RE: Smartest thing you DIDN'T buy??

Blue tote tank for us. After watching others spend hours emptying making multiple trips I'm glad we decided it was a LOT easier to just hitch up and take everything to the dump station and be back drinking a cold one within an hour. No spills and no handling nasty stuff multiple times. I'm glad I saw this post from skipnchar b/c the DH and I have been debating about the tote tanks. ;) Now, as for best and/or worst purchases, I'd have to say the worst purchase we've made so far would have to be the seasonal camping site we had this summer. Don't get me wrong, we had fun, but we definitely missed out on seeing and experiencing new places. I'm sure glad we didn't go all out and gussy up the site, because from here on out, we're gonna be on the move as much as possible. It's a much better experience to travel!!!! As for the best purchase, why I'd have to say the TT of course!!!!!! :)
